A few moments...
Hello, am quickly using Carly's laptop, so can't post for long. Exciting day here, for we are waiting for the return of the Laird - the mystery fifth house member, who is getting here any time now.
Another day without writing, but I feel less morose about it right now (and thank you everyone who sent messages of support - they were much appreciated!). I went back to my plan and addd some ideas, and I'm feeling much more positive. Will definitely start writing tomorrow.
Ah, the ring of the doorbell! I think the Laird may have arrived.
Til tomorrow.

This is how it starts. One day, then the next. A week passes and the only writing is on a blog, something of which few people are willing to pay for but still enjoy reading anyway. Weeks turn into months, months into years, and before you know it, your dead and your novel was never born. Give birth to that Novel nameless writer. Give it birth and let it grow!

Aaah. Welcome to the world of writing. And, welcome to the world of blogging. Sounds like you are in for an adventure. I will come back and see how it goes.

Do you know what's a real git? When you write a scene but don't make a note of why such and such a thing has happened, then, when you go to write the next bit, you've forgotten where it was leading. Well, not exactly that but... oh shit! Let's say your main character lies about something. You know why he had chose to lie but a few scenes further down the line, when you need the reason for the lie, it's gone. The reason, that is. What a bummer! The head just doesn't hold things as well as a note pad!

keep it up buddy, if you've got the gift it'll come to you right? never force a story, let it kick you in the ass when you're least expecting it. good luck with the novel.
